A Summertime fashion photoshoot

It’s the middle of summer and the weather is beautiful. But the mornings in Montecito, California near Santa Barbara are still cool and foggy which is the best light for photoshoots. When you have fog and haze it creates a giant soft box for you creating gorgeous, even light.

I have been lucky enough to be able to photograph this gorgeous model a few times and last time I saw her she had long hair. She recently shaved her head and I am loving it. She pulled it off and her beauty really shines.

We shot on the railroad track (safely), on the streets of Montecito and then we ended up at the beach. Ahh summertime…

Lifestyle + Branding

I have been lucky enough to shoot headshots including corporate leaders, realtors, authors, designers, etc. for their personal use and/or corporate websites. I've been shooting headshots for years but lately we have been working on more lifestyle shoots... not so posed.

Giving Back

I had the opportunity to photograph the students for Bay Scholars, a non-profit scholarship organization that provides low income students an incredible education at one of the Bay Area Catholic college prep schools. Some of these kids had never had their photo taken before. We bussed them to a studio in downtown SF and They were all so grateful! These are some of the pages from the Annual Report-I loved how they printed them-thanks to talented Matt Petty, Art Director at the Nob Hill Gazette and Caitlin Kavanagh the one who makes Bay Scholars tick.
