I absolutely love this family! I have been shooting the family every year since their little girl was a baby. Now she has a baby brother! And although we had to skip a year due to Covid, we managed to get photos of him while he still was small.
A Summertime fashion photoshoot
It’s the middle of summer and the weather is beautiful. But the mornings in Montecito, California near Santa Barbara are still cool and foggy which is the best light for photoshoots. When you have fog and haze it creates a giant soft box for you creating gorgeous, even light.
I have been lucky enough to be able to photograph this gorgeous model a few times and last time I saw her she had long hair. She recently shaved her head and I am loving it. She pulled it off and her beauty really shines.
We shot on the railroad track (safely), on the streets of Montecito and then we ended up at the beach. Ahh summertime…
Retail Detail!
I had the opportunity to shoot a couple of the clothing stores on the Peninsula for the May issue of Punch Magazine. Joey Rae in San Carlos, Alys Grace in Menlo Park and Gitane are 3 stores that have had a heck of a time during the pandemic but are bouncing back in full force. I had loads of fun with these darling owners/entrepreneurs.
